How do I give my boss of almost 6 years, notice?

If I was you.. I would write a formal letter and as I would go and give it to her in person i would tell her that you are giving your resignation and explain why in a nice way.. You want to grow.. She shouldn't get mad at you, if she does then she is very selfish.. I mean, how did she manage to be a boss? By changing comanies and getting better jobs probably..
