Would USA Conservatives buy a painting from a starving poor artist?

Because they feel that he should stop painting and "get a real job." To, as a previous questioner posted, "they aren't contributing to the American machine," and therefore don't deserve to have any help. They think it is as simple as going in and demanding that somebody hire you.
