Are you utilitarian or deontological?

Utilitarian, what's the point of doing something if it doesn't get done right? It's what we're raised to think isn't it? That that's the point in learning how to do something, so that you can do it right the first time. What would be the point in attempting to do something if it simply ends up failing? It's the sad fact of all martyrs that they cannot control how their death will be taken. It's the true question of all great leaders now past, that is this what they were leading us to?
