How to Consecrate a Sri Yantra?

I'm looking for the traditional Vedic ritual to consecrate a Sri Yantra. I know how to construct it and how to energize it via the "Shreem Hreem" chant but without the proper consecration it doesn't really matter. Please do not tell me to have someone else do it as this is not an acceptable answer, I'm looking for the exact method(s) employed.--Thanks for your help :)
