On o2 you can change your settings to pay a certain amount a month so you can get texts abroad aswell?

im going to Cyprus but still want to text to england and people be able to text me as well but not for so much ive heard you o2 actually do something to pay like �10 to get free texts to anywhere? is this true? if so how do i change it?
