How Do I Delete A Show from My DirecTv To-Do List?

Often times I check my To-Do list to see that it is recording everything I want it to record.. however sometimes it'll record an episode of something I don't need to see. For instance, it was scheduled to record a recap episode of Grey's Anatomy, which I have a Season P set, but I didn't need to see this re-cap episode. So I tried deleting it from my To-Do list, but couldn't figure it out... I tried going to the guide and removing the R (record) icon, but that deleted the entire Season P. i love both of the straighteners, but i think for your type of hair to go with the ghd straightener, it stops frizz and it straightens curls for a long time, it will stay straight until you wet it. but with the chi you have to straighten it periodically in order for the straightness to stay. i would really recommend getting the ghd protectant spray because if you use it a lot it will give you the worst split ends and the ghd will burn your hair if you keep it in one spot for a long time. the chi isn't as strong so it won't burn your hair if you have it on your hair for a long time, but it will give you the terrible split ends.

I'm quite tall - about 5ft10 and I always think I look a bit on the chubby side - but my friends all say I'm thin - I think probably the worst judge of how you look is yourself - because you're probably going to be looking at every angle for hours on end and you convice yourself you have fat ankles or long arms or something like that! Your friends are the best judge! But if you do feel worried about your weight - check your bmi - you can put in your height and your weight and it tells you whether you're the right weight for your height - search on google bmi calculator - 20-23 is a normal weight (you'll know what I mean when you do it!)

Tightness in right hamstring?

Recently while running i felt a tightness in my right hamstring, or what i believe to be my right hamstring. i immediately stopped running and stretched my hamstring as much as i could. a couple weeks later i still sometimes feel tightness in the upper part my leg. before i exercise i make it a point to stretch it out but it seems like its right above the part of the hamstring i normally stretch out. im afraid if i continue running it will tear eventually and i have a firefighter physical test to take very soon which i want to practice 100% for but im afraid i can hurt myself if i do. im asking if anyone knows what i could do to stretch it out and/or how long should i rest to recover? im 20 years old so i should recover relatively fast and ive never had a problem with my hamstrings or legs before

How much could I expect to spend raising a child?- just the basics, not including an extra room in my house, b/c I already have one. My employer offers a 30% discount off daycare, paid with pre-tax deduction, but I don't know how much it is to begin with. I can feed for the 8 weeks paid off by my employer, but would have to wean by then and switch to formula. What has made the most impact with my son has been a gluten free/casein free diet. If you haven't tried that yet I would give it a shot. It has really worked wonders with my little guy. How can I get my Win98 laptop to connect to my wireless network?

I have an older laptop running Windows 98, a Linksys wireless PC card and a D-Link wireless router. The card works with my laptop just fine, and even connects to the internet very easily, but only if the router is in its default unencrypted state. I recently set the router to use 64 bit WEP encryption with a HEX key. My XP desktop has no problem with this, but I can't figure out how to make my laptop connect to the encrypted network.

What would you have done in a situation like this?

The other day in PE, everyone was igned in groups for a relay race. Of course, I was the slowest out of my whole group, which happened to be full of over-excited, win obsessed boys. Whenever it was my turn to go, they would yell & scream, "GO!! RUN FASTER, FASTER, FASTER! God, stop being so slow!" I even told them ahead of time that I was slow & that they need to be patient with me. Well, I tried to run as fast as I could so I wouldn't have to listen to them b**ch at me later & it resulted in me wiping out twice. The first time, I fell on my back (which isn't good at all considering my scoliosis). I sucked it up & kept going. The second time is when I was really hurt... I fell forward & landed on my hip whilst skidding across the floor & punching myself in the ribcage in an attempt to catch myself (which obviously failed). It knocked the wind out of me & I was just laying on the floor. What really pissed me, my family, & my friends off is that none of my team or cl mates came to help me while I was laying on the ground, hurt & unable to breath. Instead they started yelling at me calling me slow & worthless. By the time I started to breath again, I looked at my hip, which had a giant purple, puffy skid on it that was bleeding. Some of you may ask, "Where was your teacher when all of this was going on?" ...He wasn't paying attention. I didn't even bother telling him, he's a gym obsessed freak. The only answer he would've given me was, "You're fine.". Today, the day after my incident, I'm very sore all over my body. My ribs, spine, & left hip especially. d: I was about ready to tell them to f**k off for yelling at me instead of helping me. So what would you have done if you were in my position?

My son has cerebral palsy and is now 28 months old and is unable to walk or stand (Basically, its effected to his leg). We are getting his Development, Speech and Physical Therapy. The purification factor is a number that tells you and others basically how pure your protein is. I know that sounds simple, but that's what it is. How much "enrichment" you have. How well did you get rid of all other extraneous protein. That's why for the enzyme you use specific acitivity. If you did it correctly, the specific acitity has units of protein in the denominator. So as you get rid of extraneous protein, but don't lose enzyme activity, the specific activity goes up. So, if the total amount of protein was cut in half, the specific activity would double, and the purification factor would be 2. Hope this helps.

How can i learn to be more laid back?

I wouldn't say i'm a particularly serious person in general, i can always laugh at myself when i do something stupid and i can let go and have fun but when it comes to certain things i'm just way too uptight about them. I worry far too much for starters, about things that shouldn't bother me, and i'm extremely sensitive too. I really want to be more laid back, but i don't know how? For example, if someone says something to me in harmless manor i will interpret it as being something bad, or get upset by it. My brother doesn't worry about anything ever, he's almost falling over backwards he's so laid back :P So basically, how can i because less tense and over emotional about everything and just relax? I've treated mine with Thompson's water seal since I first purchased it years ago and it still looks like new. I did skip one year (unfortunately) and was told to use deck wash (diluted) to lighten up the darkened apperance and sealed as usual. There are soooo many questions like this but idk how else to go about it so I need some advice. O.K. theres this guy(of course lol) that I like BUT I don't know if he even cares about my existence. New to Hypothyroidism?

I've discovered lately that I have the Hypothyroidism condition, now it's only a matter of finding someone to diagnose it! The doctors won't do the alternative to the TSH test (which is not at accurate as most doctors want you to think) unless my TSH levels are abnormal. I can't get to a specialist (endoctrinologist) without a referal from my family doc. I'm in the process of getting a new family doctor and I don't want to screw this up. I have all the symptoms of the disease, with two generations before me having it too - but because I'm thin the doctors don't take me seriously. Has anybody out there gone through this experience and can you tell me any information that might help me convince a doctor that his TSH test is not good enough?

How do you avoid the moldy smell when drying your clothes inside?

I'm not a fan of using the dryer for drying my cotton tshirts and cotton polos. I find that they shrink too easily even on low heat, and also shrink uneven and the front could be short, and back is long. I'm looking for some preshrunk polo's right now, but have yet to find any. I've also been looking at the niki dri-fit polos, I heard they were great and wont shrink as much. Anyway, when I hang dry my polos - they are 2 years old, I get this nasty mold smell. It takes them about 1.5 days to dry, and I've obviously noticed that when they hang outside they dry in an hour and smell great. What can I do to dry them inside and get them to smell normal? I'd like to use them in the dryer of course, but i'm scared of shrinking them with low heat, even when using cold water in the wash. please help ! Thanks!

i don't drink often. i'm kinda a wuss as far as getting past the taste. Last night i had some peppermint schnapps but only drank about 1/2 of the pint i bought. i had it in the freezer last night and noticed how i could see little floating flecks in it and sometimes i'd wince at the taste. my hubby put it away for me, putting in a jar w/ a lid and put it in the fridge. i just got it out and poured it in the same type of gl i was drinking out of last night. i noticed that i couldn't see the flecks and wondered if the fridge/freezer difference could cause that. And it was surprisingly less strong tasting. I think he put water in it but i always give the benefit of the doubt. i was gonna freeze it as i would expect the h2o potion to make ice, but life's too short and i gotta get in bed, so do you think that he watered it down or is there a good explanation? Polymer or Steel SKS Magazines?

i went to the doctors the Other day for headaches anda new prescription of the pill my bp was 129/89 and my pulse was129 beats per min, my doctor suggested that i might have hyperthyroidism , ive done research on the net and realized i have loads of the symptoms , fast heart rate , unstable mood, joint and muscle pain , weight lose , increased appetite etc also my periods have been all over the place sometimes even 6 weeks between each one so i went bac on the pill and even then im comin gon later and my periods are 2 days long . i tried to shrug it off and forget about it , but for the last 2 days ive had really bad chest pain and unable to breathe deeply is this something to do with the hyperthyroidism? i have a really bad fear of doctors and hate going but i don't know what to expect with hyperthyroidism , does it sound like i have it ? if so what should i be looking out for ?

Ok, I have a question/issue about straight talk....I use a lot of minutes every month and have been a customer of Straight talk for about six months now, and I still have straight talk, but I want a new phone number and the people at straight talk told me that they couldn't change my number for free, that I would have to buy another straight talk card in order to do that, and my straight talk service doesn't end until Jan. 2011 and I recently bought a samsung straight talk cell phone online for 49.99 it comes with 30 days of unlimited service(i was going to buy my card anyways and its already 45 dollars so it only made sense to me to go ahead and buy the whole bundle, phone and card for 49.99)I was just wondering if i want to change my phone fro mthe one i have now, to the one i bought, like transfer my number from my old pone to my new phone, will I have to use my unlimited card now, or can I transfter my number to my new phone and wait until my service ends and then reactive my phone when it runs out and have a newe number, or will it automatically start using my new card now? Why generalize and stereotype Christians?

Unfortunately, there are those who cannot see past a label, regardless of the type of label or where it came from. it depends.... i used to work at a dunkin donuts and we put new donuts out at 5am and 5pm... they have about a 12hr shelf life before the start going stale. and they only make so many of each kind depending on best sellers in your area.

I don't know it seems today that society downplays the value of one's virginity.So many young people I have spoken to have stated they are and have been for some time ually active. I know many don't agree but I believe it's a credit to your character to be able to abstain from ual acts.
